Here is how these work.
Good game. Transitions were slow though, and it needed sound.
Anyway, there is a certain algorithm that is used.
Take any two digit number. Such as 44, 10, 11, and 99.
44 would turn up to be 36. 10 would be 9, and 11 would be 9 as well. 99 turns up to be 81.
Then we have the numbers 35, 36, 37, and 38.
35 = 27, 36 = 27, 37 = 27, and 38 = 27.
Suppose you guessed any of those numbers.
Whatever. No matter what you get, the answer will always be a multiple of 9.
Even though the digits change, take a look at the numbers. Every multiple of 9 has the same symbol. Coincidence? I think not. One of those symbols will be the symbol that turns up.
This is nothing but a cheap trick.
Damn multiples of 9.
And Groundead, you subtracted wrong.
99-18 does not equal 71, but 81.
It is physically impossible to get any number that is not a multiple of 9, so that is why these things will never fail.
Also, the symbols change each time you use this thing.
One time it might be the yin yang, other times it might be something else, such as a crazy wingdings character.
No matter what, it's a cheap trick.
Still fun to have people so bewildered about this kinda shit though.
The flash itself was not very well designed.
The transitions were incredibly slow, and boring.
The fact that I had to scroll through all that really took away from the game.
The color of the crystal ball reset each time, and finally, NO SOUND!
Still kinda fun, but not the best.
3/5, 7/10
keep up the good work!
